Carlsbad Flower Fields
If you’re wanting to stroll through a picturesque flower field with the wind in your hair and not a care in the world, then this is the place for you! With over 50 acres it will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. The ranunculus, better known as the “Persian Buttercup” are so vibrant and come in a rainbow of colors. And although you can’t pick the flowers, you can purchase them online or at the gift shop. There are also other sights to explore like the sweet pea maze or the bird aviaries. Not a fan of walking? Then climb aboard the Antique Tractor and be driven around the fields. And if you get hungry you can stop by the U-Pick Blueberry patch. Admission is free and baskets can be purchased for blueberry picking. Just a heads up, tickets for the flower fields must be purchased online in advance; admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children. The website says the best time to visit is in April before they close in May!
